Job summary

Q2 is seeking an Engineering Manager to own a critical US-based fraud and decisioning platform and lead a team of engineers in a global delivery model. The role aligns with our AI-First strategy and drive for reliable, scalable, and secure fraud detection capabilities.

You will collaborate with Product, Risk, Data, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact, oversee platform health, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, 4+ years with advanced degree acceptable.
• 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated team development outcomes.
• Experience owning or operating a production enterprise platform with defined reliability and performance targets.
• Experience integrating AI/ML-driven capabilities into enterprise systems (preferred).
• Fluent written and spoken English; authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Own US-based functional owner for a core fraud and risk platform domain; set technical direction and delivery outcomes.
• Define and maintain architectural standards, operational KPIs, and reliability targets.
• Advance AI-enabled capabilities through automation, model-driven decisioning, and data observability.
• Ensure production stability through monitoring, incident response, and root-cause management.
• Partner with Product, Risk, Data, and Engineering to align roadmap priorities with business impact.
• Lead global engineering oversight and ensure delivery consistency and quality.
