Job summary

Amgen Inc. in Thousand Oaks, CA (hybrid) seeks a Senior Manager, Commercial Insights AI & Innovation Solutions to lead MR Agent and AI-enabled insights initiatives. You will bridge market research with analytics, product management, and technical teams to deliver enhanced capabilities that drive commercial decisions.

You will work with Business Analytics & Insights (BAI) to shape the roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and scale AI-enabled processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical/biotech market research experience.
• Experience managing an AI-enabled tool or analytics product, with roadmap ownership.
• Practical understanding of generative AI, prompts and outputs.
• Ability to connect research findings to business questions and actions.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, vendors and teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong collaboration and leadership across functions to drive adoption.

Responsibilities

• Own MR Agent research content, prompts, taxonomies and workflows; ensure quality and release readiness.
• Develop and maintain the MR Agent roadmap and backlog based on priorities and data.
• Apply market research expertise to improve MR Agent capabilities and workflows.
• Coordinate content refreshes with research agencies and partners; ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Serve as primary business contact for MR Agent and escalate risks or scope changes.
• Collaborate with AIN to deliver AI-enabled QBRs and translate outputs for leadership.
