Job summary

Amgen seeks a Marketing Science Operations, Associate Director, based in the US, to lead BI and Data Engineering delivery within Marketing Science. You will manage a distributed team across analytics, governance, and automation, shaping the platform roadmap to enable predictive, data-driven decisions.

This high-visibility role requires strong business acumen, cross-functional leadership, and executive communication, with on-site 1–2 days/week at Thousand Oaks, CA or Deerfield, IL.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's or equivalent with experience in analytics or marketing operations.
• Strong business acumen and leadership for cross-functional analytics teams.
• Proven executive communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Frame KPIs and align metrics across analytics initiatives; translate priorities into roadmaps.
• Own portfolio governance, capacity planning, and cross-vendor delivery coordination.
• Lead Tableau team and establish dashboard governance, design, and performance standards.
• Coordinate delivery across global teams; ensure transparency on status, risks, and mitigations.
• Standardize KPI definitions, reporting, and automation roadmaps to improve efficiency.
