Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Commercial Analytics Manager to lead secondary data analytics and support brand performance with rigorous insights. The role sits in Global Marketing, Access, and Capabilities, offering a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to shape strategic recommendations.

You will partner with multiple teams, define KPIs, manage external vendors, and drive innovative analytics methods.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent in a quantitative field with analytics experience.
• Advanced analytics experience enabling data-driven decisions across brands.
• Experience leading analytics projects in a matrix / cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Design approach and perform secondary data analytics to support strategic decision-making
• Lead analytical execution by implementing solutions, ensuring progress per timelines and scope, and coordinating readout of results
• Enable data-driven experimentation by establishing KPIs and leading indicators, evaluating experiment effectiveness, and guiding teams with actionable insights
• Work cross-functionally to synthesize findings, develop recommendations and articulate actionable insights to stakeholders
• Provide senior leadership and brand teams with an objective and rigorous perspective on secondary data analytics and performance management
• Develop and deliver analysis using complex data sources to generate a holistic understanding of the brand
• Manage relationship with external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective execution of analytics
• Enhance the capabilities of the commercial data and analytics team by researching and implementing new analytical tools and data sources
