Job summary

Timac AGRO USA in Darlington, SC is seeking a Sales Representative/Agronomic Technical Consultant. You will travel within the territory, meet growers and ag retailers, and demonstrate how Timac Agro’s products improve productivity for sustainable, profitable farming.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in agronomy sales/consulting, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field required.
• 2+ years in agriculture, farming or agronomy preferred.
• B2B sales and/or consulting experience in agriculture is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, independent, yet able to work in a team.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of industry trends, products, and market conditions.
• Proficient with CRM software and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 5 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily within territory to meet prospects and customers, building relationships and generating leads.
• Serve as on-farm consultant, offering agronomically sound solutions based on grower needs and Timac Agro portfolio.
• Initiate field demonstrations and coordinate seasonal crop tours with growers.
• Represent the brand at events and support campaigns to distributors and key accounts.
• Develop action plans and schedules to identify sales targets and contact goals.
• Accurately record visits and pre-orders in CRM daily.
