Placements24 is seeking an experienced Agribusiness Development Manager for our Upington office in the Northern Cape. The role combines strategic market analysis with hands-on field engagement to cultivate opportunities across the agribusiness value chain.

You will lead feasibility studies, develop growth plans, and build strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, and government agencies in a hybrid work environment with travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of agribusiness development, strategic planning, or business analysis experience.
• Proven track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Strong understanding of the agricultural value chain and key market drivers.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in the Northern Cape agricultural sector is an advantage.

Responsibilities
