Responsibilities

• Conduct experience studies and review procedures (claim trends, rating factors).
• Research premium and product data for competitive analysis.
• Assist with market performance analysis for individuals and small groups.
• Produce ad hoc modeling for impacts of health care reform.
• Update large group market rating factors.
• Use AV calculator to determine actuarial values for benefit designs.
• Support rate filings data collection and populating templates.
• Assist with enrollment, claims and income projections for solvency testing and budgeting.
• Collect, manipulate and analyze data using Excel, Access, VBA and SAS.
