Job summary

Milliman's CMH Health Practice is seeking college students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree to join a summer actuarial internship. The role requires onsite four days per week (Mon–Thu) at Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; or Hartford, CT, with Friday optional WFH.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in actuarial science or a quantitative field
• At least one actuarial exam passed
• Able to work onsite four days per week at one of our CMH Health office locations
• Junior standing preferred (sophomore will be considered)

Responsibilities

• Analyze data using Excel, VBA, SAS, Python and Milliman tools for healthcare consulting
• Contribute to pricing, reserving, projections, model development and forecasting
• Review peers' work and support research and product development
• Coordinate with teams to present client reports and deliverables
• Execute core technical work including actuarial calculations and model implementation
