Milliman, Inc. is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst for a hybrid role based in the United States. You will autonomously execute analyses for ongoing projects, manage complex data manipulation in Excel, and leverage programming and database skills for advanced client work.

The position values professional examinations (CAS) and interaction with clients, with opportunities to mentor analysts and contribute to growth initiatives across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher with quantitative coursework.
• Two to ten years of professional actuarial full-time work experience in relevant topics.
• Pursuit of CAS credential and associateship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project execution, ad hoc or long-term.
• Write reports and support client communication.
• Interact with clients and vendor partners as needed.
• Train and guide junior Actuarial Analysts.
• Ensure quality control and risk management guidelines.
• Participate in marketing opportunities and publications.
• Present findings to peers and clients.
• Draft reports and exhibits for internal/external use.
• Check work for accuracy in methods and mechanics.
• Document data compilation processes for projects.
• Implement process improvements to improve results.
• Perform other duties as directed by Principals.
