Job summary

Milliman is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to work on client projects in a hybrid setting based out of Boston, MA or Burlington, VT. The role emphasizes autonomous analysis, data manipulation in Excel, and opportunities to expand programming and modeling skills.

The candidate should have two actuarial exams and be pursuing the Casualty Actuarial Society Associate credential, with a Bachelor’s degree and strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and modeling tools such as R, Python, SAS, or STATA.

Qualifications

• Two actuarial exams passed and pursuing Associate credential (CAS)
• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress by 2027 with quantitative coursework
• Proficiency with Excel and Word
• Experience with statistical modeling tools (R, Python, SAS, STATA, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Execute analyses for ongoing projects with project teams and independently.
• Produce high-quality analytical work with complex data manipulation and summarization in Excel; programming, statistics, and database skills valued.
• Support credential progression by pursuing CAS exams and leveraging Milliman resources.
