Job summary

Missoula Bone & Joint and Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable to ensure accurate processing of invoices, payments, and deposits. The role requires attention to confidentiality, strong communication with medical staff, and precise data entry within QuickBooks and NetSuite.

Based in Missoula, MT, the position offers a hybrid schedule (in-person Tue/Wed/Fr, remote Thu, Mon off), with 36 hours per week and the potential to flex up to 40 hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting, finance, or business-related experience.
• Strong Excel and MS Word skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and NetSuite is preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and receipts in QuickBooks or NetSuite accurately and timely.
• Prepare payments, deposits, EFTs, and file documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and manage accounts payable aging.
• Assist with monthly close, financial reports, and budgets.
• Support ERISA audit with the accounting firm and maintain internal controls.
