Job summary

Johns Manville in Denver, CO, is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician I to process 75–100 invoices daily, match POs, and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal partners. This hybrid role combines home days on Mondays and Fridays with in-office Tuesdays–Thursdays at our HQ.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Technical School diploma required.
• 2-3 years of accounts payable or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; SAP or ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process 75-100 invoices daily, ensuring discounts and correct coding.
• Match purchase orders to invoices and obtain proper authorization.
• Enter invoices, file documents, and research imbalances and other AP issues.
• Adhere to internal controls and policies.
• Follow transaction entry verification procedures.
• Respond to calls and emails, providing timely follow-up and resolution of issues.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors and internal partners to resolve payment issues.
• Research and resolve invoice/PO discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth workflow.
