Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Background in a law firm environment.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and review check requests for approvals and backup documentation.
• Review aging reports to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Verify invoices for account coding accuracy, client disbursements and sales tax compliance.
• Handle application of trust and release of trust payments.
• Research and resolve moderate to complex payment inquiries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
