Job summary

Responsibilities include managing the full AP cycle, ensuring proper coding, handling vendor inquiries, supporting month-end close, and coordinating with Billing and Procurement on client cost recovery

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience with supervisory duties.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services preferred.
• Strong AP controls, GL coding, reconciliations, and expense management.
• Experience with a legal accounting system such as Aderant preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment.
• Review invoices for documentation, approvals, coding, and policy compliance.
• Coordinate payment runs and vendor inquiries with proper approvals.
• Maintain vendor records and controls for setup and tax documentation.
• Reconcile AP records and support month-end close, accruals, audits, and Form 1099.
• Lead AP staff, set priorities, manage workloads, and monitor performance.
• Collaborate with Billing, Procurement, and Finance on cost recovery.
