Berkeys Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting team in Southlake, TX. This full-time role handles the complete accounts payable cycle, including PO processing, invoice matching, and vendor payments, with a four-day in-office, one-day remote hybrid schedule.

You will work closely with operations, warehouse, and finance to ensure accuracy, timely payments, and clean month-end close, leveraging the ServiceTitan and Sage

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Experience with three-way matching, GL coding, accruals, and 1099 reporting.
• Experience exporting/importing/reconciling data between systems.
• Experience with consumer financing programs (Service Finance, GoodLeap, etc.).
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, formulas).
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage full accounts payable cycle from PO to vendor payment.
• Perform three-way matching of POs, invoices, and receipts.
• Code expenses to GL accounts, departments, and cost centers.
• Prepare vendor payments via check, ACH, wire, or card.
• Maintain vendor records and W-9s; assist year-end 1099s.
• Create POs in ServiceTitan and track credits/memos.
• Reconcile deposits and financing activity with providers.
• Support month-end close and reconciliations between systems.
• Respond to inquiries and assist audits; identify process improvements.
