Computype in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a results-driven Accounts Payable Specialist for a hybrid role. You will review supplier invoices, code accounts, manage tax charges, and process payments, with on-site Mondays and remote options otherwise.

This position offers a starting base of $52,000–$65,000 with competitive benefits, 3–4 remote days after training, and opportunities to improve AP workflows and vendor relations within a 50-year legacy company.

Qualifications

• One- or two-year accounting degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong AP experience with a fully integrated ERP system.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and co-workers.
• Ability to perform duties in a timely and accurate manner with high volumes of paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier invoices for proper support, approval, and tax accuracy.
• Enter approved invoices and work with purchasing on variances.
• Generate weekly AP payment runs, including ACH and wires.
• Review employee expense reports for policy adherence and backup.
• Prepare Form 1099 for contract labor and onboarding of new suppliers.
• Maintain vendor records in Epicor and monitor payment timelines.
