Job summary

Computype, Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full-cycle AP, review invoices, tax and vendor setup in Epicor, and process payments. This hybrid role requires in-office Mondays in Saint Paul, MN with option to work from home other days.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate coding, timely payments, and compliance, while pursuing process improvements and utilising Excel and ERP tools.

Qualifications

• One- or two-year accounting degree (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong AP experience with a fully integrated ERP system.
• Excellent typing skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, as well as co-workers.
• Ability to perform duties in a timely and accurate manner, while keeping track of high volumes of paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier invoices for proper support approval and account coding.
• Enter approved supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate weekly Accounts Payable payment runs, including ACH and Wire payments.
• Review Employee expense reports for adherence to Company policy.
• Establish and onboard new suppliers in Epicor.
• Monitor payments to ensure timely settlement and identify early payment discounts.
• Prepare Form 1099 for contract labor and maintain supplier records.
• Handle supplier inquiries regarding payments.
