NLACRC is seeking an Accounting Specialist to handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoicing, payments, and program fee assessments. The role supports multiple departments and vendors in a nonprofit setting.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of related experience or an associate degree with experience, plus strong Excel and data entry skills, and a professional demeanor for internal and external communications.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related experience required.
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school with one (1) year of related experience; or Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.

Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable and trust accounts; prepare reports and contracts.
• Assist with fee assessment programs and related inquiries.
• Provide general department support: data entry, filing, scanning, and reporting.
