Job summary

LND Technical Services, LLC is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist to support day-to-day financial operations in a hybrid role based in the greater Houston area. The position focuses on AR and billing, AP processing, and ensuring accurate job-cost coding in collaboration with Project Managers.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields and at least three years in accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Three+ years in accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, collections, or general accounting.
• Experience in a project-based environment such as engineering or construction preferred.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Office; payroll/expense systems a plus.
• Understanding of project accounting, job-cost coding, and basic controls; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Review billing terms and customer requirements, compile billing packages, and issue invoices on schedule.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, pursue past-due balances, and provide collections updates.
• Process vendor invoices, code to projects, and manage approvals and payments.
• Assist with month-end activities and reconciliations for AR, AP, and project billing.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support for accounting transactions.
