Horizon Recovery is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the accounting function, close books for two entities, and deliver accurate financial reporting. The role builds the operating budget, manages accruals, and maintains cash forecasts for executive planning.

This hybrid position supervises one bookkeeper, strengthens internal controls, and partners with leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial statements and grant reporting where applicable.

Qualifications

• Full monthly close experience across entities.
• Experience with accrual-basis accounting and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Close both entities on a monthly calendar with complete balance sheet reconciliation.
• Maintain accrual-basis books including payroll, expenses, and liabilities.
• Provide monthly financial package with concise drivers and open items.
• Build the annual operating budget by location and service line.
• Supervise the bookkeeper and strengthen internal controls.
