Cobalt Service Partners, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to own accounting for an acquired operating company. You will manage monthly close, revenue recognition under ASC 606, job costing, WIP, and cash management. You’ll build processes and lead the team through system changes with the regional finance group.

The role emphasizes ownership, accuracy, and collaborative problem solving in a project-based environment.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with monthly close ownership.
• Strong command of GAAP, ASC 606, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Experience with project-based accounting: job costing, WIP, and over/under billings.
• Experience managing close and reporting across multiple entities or subsidiaries.
• Proficiency with accounting systems; ability to learn new ones quickly (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, ServiceTitan).
• Strong Excel and modeling skills.

Aufgaben

• Monthly close: run a fast, accurate close and flash report.
• Project accounting: revenue recognition, job costing, and WIP across active projects.
• Financial reporting: income statement, balance sheet, def. revenue, and variance analysis.
• Intercompany accounting: record and reconcile intercompany activity.
• Cash forecasting: build and maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast.
• Controls and audit: maintain internal controls; prepare PBC schedules; support audit.
• Budget and KPIs: prepare the annual budget and track KPIs.
• Process and systems: document procedures; replace manual workflows; support ERP.
• Team and change management: lead accounting staff and train on new processes.
