Job summary

CFS in Pittsburgh, PA (Western Suburbs) is seeking an Accounting and Financial Reporting Manager to lead site-level accounting operations, financial reporting, and SOX controls. The role partners with corporate finance and operations to ensure accurate monthly closes and compliant reporting across the organization.

You will manage two direct reports, drive process improvements, oversee SAP financial modules, and coordinate with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA or other professional designation preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to research, interpret, and resolve complex accounting matters.
• Experience with US regulatory environment and SOX compliance.
• Experience with monthly/quarterly close and reporting processes.
• Experience with SAP; exposure to Oracle Hyperion or similar tools is a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards and policies.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Review and approve general ledger activity and reporting deliverables.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, cash disbursements, payroll summaries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review management reporting and variance analysis.
• Partner with corporate finance on accounting matters and external reporting.
• Ensure SOX 404 compliance and control documentation.
