Job summary

CFS in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in a hybrid role. The position blends traditional accounting with financial analysis and strategic reporting, offering strong visibility to leadership.

You will lead close processes, prepare statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and work cross-functionally to improve insights. A multi-entity environment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–6+ years of relevant experience (public or industry).
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
• Experience with multi-entity or multi-location environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with financial modeling and variance analysis
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Partner cross-functionally with operations to improve financial insights
• Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
