Job summary

CFS, a Wisconsin-based company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this hybrid role, you will support month-end close, oversee payroll and tax filings, and coordinate audits across multiple systems including NetSuite and ADP.

You will play a key role in process improvement and 401(k) audit coordination while partnering with external auditors. A CPA is strongly preferred, with 4+ years of accounting experience and a bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, handling complex reconciliations and journal entries.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and depreciation management.
• Manage monthly Sales & Use Tax filings across Wisconsin and Illinois.
• Oversee accounting processes across multiple billing systems and ensure accurate reporting within NetSuite.
• Review biweekly payroll for accuracy, including pay code validation and payroll-related controls through ADP.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for FileBound and support AP workflow optimization.
• Coordinate financial and 401(k) audit requests, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors.
