Job summary

Howden Tiger in Edina, MN is seeking a seasoned Accounting and Claims Team Lead (Director) to manage a small team of accounting and claims professionals across the US. You will supervise, mentor, balance workloads, and drive process improvements while delivering high-quality service to clients and reinsurers.

You will partner with Brokers and internal teams, monitor KPIs, analyze data, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of Reinsurance Intermediary Accounting/Claims experience.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a small team of accounting and claims professionals located in Edina, Minnesota and remotely throughout the US.
• Supervise, train, and mentor your direct reports to help them develop the skills and experience needed to perform at a high level and grow their careers.
• Balance workloads and onboard new business while ensuring the highest levels of customer service.
• Work with Brokers to ensure coordination of sales and service support.
• Monitor performance against Key Performance Indicators and report data to stakeholders.
• Assist with design and implementation of technology solutions as needed.
