Job summary

Howden is a global insurance group seeking a senior leader to manage and grow a small accounting and claims team based in Edina, Minnesota, with remote work across the US. You will supervise, train, and mentor direct reports, coordinate with Brokers, and help define policies to ensure top-tier client service and data-driven decisions.

You will monitor KPIs, report data to stakeholders, and support regulatory compliance with US state and NAIC requirements, while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of Reinsurance Intermediary Accounting/Claims experience.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a small team of accounting and claims professionals located in Edina, Minnesota and remotely throughout the US.
• Supervise, train, and mentor your direct reports to help them develop the skills and experience needed to perform at a high level and grow their careers.
• Work with Brokers to ensure coordination of sales and service support.
• Monitor performance against Key Performance Indicators and report key data to stakeholders.
• Assist with compliance with US State and NAIC requirements and regulatory matters as needed.
• Travel to client and HowdenTiger offices as required.
