Job summary

RESOLVE is seeking an Accounting Associate in Washington, DC to support the Controller and bring core accounting processes in‑house. You will handle AP/AR, reconciliations, month‑end close, and project code setup across multiple entities, aiding audits and year‑end filings.

The role requires a bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 2–3 years of experience, with proficiency in Intacct or QuickBooks and strong Excel skills. This is a full‑time, hybrid position with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of related accounting experience.
• Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Proficiency with Intacct, QuickBooks, Bill.com; Spend and Expense preferred.
• Strong Excel and database skills; familiarity with Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and vendor setup with timely approvals.
• Prepare customer invoices and assist receivables follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date accounting records.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts.
• Support month‑end close and documentation; set up new project codes.
• Assist with audit prep, 1099s, and tax filings.
• Manage finance calendar and coordinate with FP&A for reports.
