University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND is seeking an Academic Technology Specialist to support students, faculty and staff with teaching technologies. The role involves training, troubleshooting, and administering diverse academic software platforms within a hybrid on-campus/remote schedule.

The position requires a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a related field plus 3 years of applicable experience, and a successful background check.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in computer science, technology, business, data analytics, engineering/math, instructional design or related field plus 3 years related work experience.
1 year experience with software application and/or desktop troubleshooting or educational technology.
Successful Criminal History Background Check.

Responsibilities

Provide broad technical support for UND academic technologies to students, faculty, and staff.
Deliver training and create modules/tutorials for academic technologies.
Provide administration for Blackboard, Zoom, YuJa, Honorlock, Qualtrics, Smarthinking, and more.
Manage tickets in the TTaDA support system and coordinate with UIT.
Evaluate new academic technologies and assist with implementation and documentation.
Collaborate with instructional designers and other UIT/TTaDA staff.
