Job summary

Jacobs seeks a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules, accelerating re-industrialization in the U.S. You will join an international delivery team, build 4D/5D workflows, and develop simulations that inform strategy and execution.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in BIM/VDC, proficiency with Revit/Navisworks and 4D tools, and a curious, collaborative mindset for cross‑discipline work across time zones. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or construction sequencing.
• Experience using Revit, Navisworks, and 4D planning tools.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly and collaborate across time zones.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar tools and improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models connecting 3D elements with construction schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or comparable tools.
• Prepare/structure/vet model data including Revit parameters and element coding to support reliable schedule linking and updates.
• Work with project teams to understand construction methods, evaluate sequencing, and identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
• Create clear simulations, visualizations, and presentations to support planning discussions and communicate strategy.
• Keep models and deliverables current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed.
• Coordinate work with an international delivery team, set priorities, provide handoffs, and review deliverable quality.
• Improve repeatable workflows, troubleshoot data integration issues, and test tools and automation for speed and accuracy.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedule activities, and cost data.
• Share knowledge and help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
