SharkNinja in Needham, MA is seeking a HW UX/UI Design Co-op for January through June 2027. This full-time, onsite role offers hands-on experience across hardware UI design, prototyping, and cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering.

You will define end-to-end user experiences for HW products, design on-device interfaces, run usability tests, and document UI specs for firmware teams. A strong portfolio and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma are essential.

Qualifications

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a related bachelor’s or master’s program.
Available for full-time, 40 hours/week onsite in Needham, MA.
Strong portfolio demonstrating design experience.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Define end-to-end user experience and on-product interfaces for new HW products.
Collaborate with industrial design on UI placement, control feel, and ergonomics.
Work with product and engineering to deliver feasible, desirable experiences.
Build and run usability testing on physical prototypes and translate findings into design changes.
Document UI layouts, interaction specs, state diagrams, and UI asset packages for firmware/engineering teams.
