SharkNinja is seeking a HW UX/UI Design Co-op to craft intuitive on-device interfaces and user experiences for hardware products. You will work with cross-functional teams across product, engineering, and industrial design to drive concepts from prototype to launch.

Qualifications

• Current student in a related bachelor's or master's program or recent graduate within the past year.
• Able to work full-time 40 hours/week onsite in Needham, MA 5 days a week.
• Showcase a strong design portfolio.
• Apply a user-centered mindset to create thoughtful experiences.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end user experience, interaction model, and on-product interfaces for new HW products.
• Collaborate with industrial design on UI placement, control feel, labeling, and ergonomics.
• Work with product and engineering to resolve hardware and tech constraints in feasible, desirable designs.
• Build and run usability testing on physical prototypes and translate findings into changes.
• Document UI layouts, interaction specs, and state diagrams for firmware/engineering teams.
