Job summary

Husqvarna Group seeks an HVL Laser Operator at Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC. The role uses tooling and automated cells to assemble segmented diamond blades, requiring careful measurement, setup of grinders and laser welders, and adherence to EPA/OSHA guidelines.

Prior CNC experience and strong math skills are preferred. You will monitor quality through micrometer checks, torque verification and visual weld inspection, while maintaining records and supporting a safe manufacturing

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and familiarity with the metric system.
• Experience handling diamond tools and precision measurement instruments.
• Ability to read micrometers and perform gauge measurements.
• Awareness of safety regulations and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tooling, equipment and materials in automated cells to assemble segmented blades.
• Set up radius grinder, laser weld machine and sharpening equipment parameters.
• Perform in-process quality checks with micrometers and inspect weld joints.
• Record quality data and coordinate with Quality Control on inspection standards.
