Job summary

Husqvarna Construction is seeking a HVL Laser Operator in Columbia, SC to assemble segmented diamond blades in high-volume automated cells. The role involves radius grinding, laser welding, sharpening, and meticulous quality checks with micrometers and torque tools.

Adherence to EPA, OSHA, and internal standards is required for safe, compliant production. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, work second shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

High school or equivalent required.
Previous working experience with CNC equipment preferred.
Ability to lift, push/pull and stand for long periods of time.
Strong basic math skills necessary.

Responsibilities

Radius grinding of segments.
Laser welding of segments to cores.
Sharpening and exposure grinding of blades.
Follow policies to ensure EPA and environmental compliance in the segmented diamond blade process.
Follow policies to ensure OSHA safety and health compliance in the segmented diamond blade process.
