Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a Laser Operator for the HVL line. The role uses tooling, equipment and materials in automated cells to assemble segmented diamond blades. Shift is 1st, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a focus on precision, safety and process compliance.

You will perform radius grinding, laser welding, sharpening, and in-process quality checks. The job requires attention to detail, manual dexterity and adherence to EPA/OSHA guidelines in a manufacturing

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift, push/pull and stand for long periods.
• Strong basic math skills required.

Mansioni

• Radius grinding of segments.
• Laser welding of segments to cores.
• Sharpening and exposure grinding of blades.
• Quality checks on segmented blades (gauge, height, thickness).
• Record quality data and order completion.
• Set up and adjust radius grinder and laser welding parameters.
• Maintain and clean equipment for next orders.
