TDIndustries is seeking an HVAC installer/technician to install and retrofit commercial and industrial systems in Texas. You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and follow safety policies while delivering quality work and maintaining profitability.
Responsibilities include leading installations over 25 tons, managing sub-contractors, and using app-based software to streamline tasks. Strong communication and ethics are essential to thrive in our employee-owned culture.
Installs/retrofits new HVAC systems including (duct and equipment) in commercial and industrial settings, read and interpret blueprints and specifications and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Things we offer you in this position include -
* Installs and performs retrofits of HVAC systems with intermediate to expert knowledge of piping and/or
* Types of equipment worked on will include split systems, mini split systems, VRF multizone systems,
RTUS, WSHP, self-contained systems, CRAC units, air cooled chillers, cooling towers, airside equipment,
AHUs and exhaust fans of all types.
* Proficient in leading a team for the installation of equipment exceeding 25 tons.
* Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring/testing equipment.
* Completes quoted projects with high quality while maintaining profitability. Develops long-term relationships
with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
* Performs sub-contractor management on quoted projects including coordination and scheduling of
vendors. Provides guidance to sub-contractors as needed and performs QA-QC tasks.
* Participates in after-hours quoted projects (as needed) per customer requirements.
* Safely operates motor vehicles and trailers as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets
requirements of fleet safety and driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.
* Purchases parts, materials, and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers and sub-contractors.
* Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.
* Able to work effectively with app based software
