TDIndustries is seeking an HVAC technician to inspect, test, repair, and perform maintenance on commercial systems in Texas. You will work with split systems, heat pumps, RTUs, and WSHP, and participate in on-call rotations while maintaining tools and inventory on the service vehicle. Formación

• Ideally 1–2 years of relevant HVAC experience.
• Familiar with HVAC unitary equipment and controls.
• Basic reading of electrical circuits and low voltage DC.
• Ability to read basic schematics and use app-based tools.
• Professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose HVAC performance via observation, testing and setup for split systems, heat pumps, RTUs, and WSHP.
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment for troubleshooting and planned maintenance per service agreements.
• Fulfill service contracts and projects, and communicate work clearly to customers.
• Participate in on-call/standby rotations per business unit protocols.
• Purchase materials and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
• Maintain tools and inventory on the service vehicle.
• Safely drive company vehicle and trailer, following safety policies.

Job Summary

Performs inspections, testing, repairs, and planned maintenance of HVAC Commercial Systems.

Essential Duties

• Diagnoses HVAC system performance through observation, testing and setup as of equipment: split systems, heat pump, RTU and WSHP.
• Performs disassembly and reassembly of large or small commercial HVAC equipment to perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance as indicated in the service agreement.
• Successfully fulfills service contracts, quoted projects, and service calls in alignment with directives. Initiates the establishment of enduring client partnerships, ensuring clear communication of work executed to achieve customer contentment.
• Engages in on-call/stand‑by rotations as per business unit protocols and procedures, demonstrating readiness for responsive technical support.
• Purchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.
• Safely drives a motor vehicle and trailer, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

Ideally 1-2 years of relevant experience.

• Required -- HVAC Unitary skills: split system - all brands up to 5 tons, mini-split system - up to 3 ton heat pump, roof top units - all brands up to 5 tons, water source heat pumps - all brands up to 5 tons, water source heat pumps - all brands up to 5 tons.
• Knowledge of brand specific controls.
• Fundamentals of A/C electrical circuits and low voltage D/C electrical circuits and operation.
• Hands on experience with one or more controls platforms.
• Ability to read basic schematics.
• Must be able to use app-based technology.
• Professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capability.
• Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.
