Job summary

R.E. Michel Company is seeking an HVACR Technical Service Advisor to respond to technical questions from internal and external customers across IN/IL/WI/IA. The role requires travel, field visits with dealers, and ongoing education on HVACR equipment.

The TSA will troubleshoot, maintain records of field activities, and promote product improvements. Strong knowledge of HVACR systems, electricity, and hydraulics is essential for success.

Qualifications

• HVACR field experience with troubleshooting ability.
• Willingness to travel to IN/IL/WI/IA area.
• Strong knowledge of electricity and heating equipment (gas and oil).
• Experience with air conditioning, heat pumps, duct systems, ventilation, refrigeration, and hydronics.
• Ability to size and match equipment accurately.
• Strong written and spoken communication; professional interaction.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical questions from internal and external customers.
• Troubleshoot HVACR issues and promote product improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of field visits.
• Make visits to job sites with dealers as necessary.
• Attend semi-annual Tech Service Advisor meetings.
• Pursue continuing education on new HVACR equipment/products.
