Job summary

R.E. Michel Company, LLC is seeking an HVACR Technical Service Advisor to respond to technical questions and troubleshoot HVACR systems across IN/IL/WI/IA. The role requires travel to sites, strong communication, and a commitment to ongoing learning.

The TSA will work with manufacturers, maintain records, and participate in technician meetings while supporting customers with HVACR product knowledge and service expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven background and experience in the HVACR field with the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Knowledge of electricity and heating equipment (gas and oil).
• Air conditioning, heat pumps, duct systems, ventilation, refrigeration, and Hydronics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• The TSA interacts with manufacturers and promotes improvements in products.
• Maintains accurate records of field visits.
• Makes visits to job sites with dealers as necessary.
• Attends semi-annual Tech Service Advisor meetings.
• Maintains technical literature.
• Continues education regarding new and changing HVACR equipment/products.
