Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Orlando, FL is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver prompt, courteous service across the customer experience, support sales, process quotes and orders, and assist high-value accounts. The role emphasizes accurate product knowledge, timely responses, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities include handling warranties, processing payments, promoting promotions, and maintaining a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Greet customers on the telephone in a prompt, professional and helpful manner.
• Provide prompt, courteous service by listening to the customer’s needs and requests and respond accordingly.
• Handle customer warranty claims and credit returns with proper documentation.
• Enter sales orders into Sales Order Entry System and process credit card payments per SOPs.
• Answer calls and provide quotes or take sales orders, research products/services and answer questions.
• Calculate refrigeration load requirements for quotes and bids for refrigeration equipment.
• Identify damaged inventory and inform Store Manager for markdowns.
• Work the sales counter during peak periods or as relief for counter sales reps.
• Assist Account Managers with Key Customer needs, bids, or quotes.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance.
• Attend product training to improve knowledge for informed service.
• Promote monthly flyers and promotions to enhance counter sales.
• Alert supervisor when showroom sales are brisk to adjust staffing.
• Perform other duties to maintain high level of service.
