Job summary

Johnstone Supply, North Americas leading HVACR distributor, seeks a Counter Sales Associate I to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales in our Lakeland store. You will assist customers in selecting products, provide technical support, and process orders and transactions with accuracy.

You will also research parts, coordinate backorders, manage stock through ERP tools, and maintain a clean showroom while contributing to store profitability. Previous HVAC/R exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Front line customer service experience in wholesale/retail.
• Ability to run a POS terminal and process quotes and orders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math, and proficiency with computer systems.
• Experience in HVAC/R or related industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product selections to meet needs.
• Provide HVAC/R information, support, and specials ordering.
• Process transactions, quotes, warranties, and will-call orders.
• Research products, stock levels, and coordinate transfers between branches.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and assist in inventory counts.
• Follow up on orders, delays, and delivery dates with customers.
• Support in receiving, shipping, and general store duties.
