Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant (RSC) to advise homeowners on comfort solutions, diagnose needs, and drive HVAC and water heater installations. This outside sales role blends consultative selling with customer education and relationship management.

You will leverage internal warm leads, company-provided pipelines, and self-generation to close opportunities, collaborating with our technical team on-site to tailor solutions and ensure a 100% satisfaction experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree or related sales certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably direct-to-consumer (B2C).
• Strong business development abilities, excellent negotiation skills, and a talent for closing sales.
• Ability to educate customers and present technical concepts clearly; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, customer-focused service.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to navigate residential environments, including ladders, attics, basements, and crawl spaces to assess needs.
• Flexible hours and on-call availability to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Consultative Selling: Present tailored comfort options for high-efficiency HVAC and water heater systems to customers.
• Customer Experience Champion: Build lasting relationships with a customer-focused approach.
• Sales Generation: Drive growth using internal leads and your own pipeline to close sales.
• Onsite Collaboration: Work with the technical team during site visits to tailor solutions.
• Industry Expertise: Stay updated on trends and energy-efficient technology.
