Job summary

Baker Distributing is seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our Tampa team. This role focuses on accurate order picking, quality checks, and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced HVAC distribution environment.

You will verify orders, load and unload trucks, stock merchandise, and support inventory counts, with safety and English proficiency required. The position is full-time in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse and/or forklift experience desired.
• Appliance lift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure full compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders for customers; production standards will be shared during interview process.
• Conduct Quality Inspections to verify/ensure received, picked and shipped products are accurate.
• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers or other Sales Centers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily truck and forklift maintenance checklist.
• Assist management with inventory counts and daily upkeep of the Warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
