Job summary

Baker Distributing is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate for our Jacksonville, FL warehouse. You will support inventory control, pick and verify orders, and help ensure timely dispatch of HVAC parts and supplies.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience or related warehousing duties, can multitask under deadlines, and hold a valid driver’s license with excellent English communication. This role is on-site and integral to daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse and/or forklift experience desired.
• Appliance lift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task and meet daily deadlines.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders for customers.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure accuracy of received, picked and shipped items.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Assist management with inventory counts and upkeep of the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
