Job summary

Baker Distributing Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced warehouse operations in Florida. You will handle order picking, verification, quality checks, and inventory control, ensuring accurate and timely processing for our HVAC brands and parts.

The role requires the ability to multi-task, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintain safety and accuracy in daily activities. Prior forklift experience and a valid driver’s license are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse and or forklift experience is desired.
• Appliance lift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task and meet daily deadlines.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders for customers.
• Conduct Quality Inspections to verify accuracy.
• Daily loading and unloading of products for delivery.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Assist management with inventory counts and upkeep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
