Job summary

Baker Distributing Company seeks a reliable Warehouse Associate to support our HVAC distribution operations in Florida. You will pick, verify, and prepare orders while maintaining accurate inventory and quality checks in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, basic English proficiency, and the ability to multi-task within daily deadlines. Prior forklift and warehouse experience are preferred, with opportunities to grow in a leading wholesale HVAC distributorship.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse and/or forklift experience preferred.
• Appliance lift experience is a plus.
• Must be able to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Must possess and maintain a current, valid Driver’s License.
• Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English to ensure full compliance with safety standards, training, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pick and verify orders for customers.
• Conduct Quality Inspections to verify/ensure the products being received, picked and shipped are accurate.
• Daily loading and unloading of products in truck for delivery to customers and/or other Sales Centers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Assist management with inventory counts and provide daily upkeep of the Warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
