Job summary

Kauai Mechanical is seeking a dependable Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations for our commercial HVAC materials in Kauai. You will direct the warehouse team, ensure timely availability of parts for service and installation crews, and maintain inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification required (or able to obtain within 30 days of hire).
• 2+ years of warehouse experience with some lead or supervisory exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in inventory management practices and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and coordinate receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory.
• Provide day-to-day direction to KM Warehouse Associates; train, mentor, and develop staff.
• Manage vendor and purchase-order processes; follow up on backorders and returns/cores.
• Coordinate with Service Department, Installations, Foremen and field crews to ensure material availability.
• Maintain standardized inventory procedures, conduct cycle counts and audits for accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels, communicate reorder needs, and prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup; operate company vehicle as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment and enforce safety policies.
