Job summary

Kauai Mechanical is seeking a dependable Warehouse Lead to oversee day-to-day operations of our commercial HVAC warehouse in Hawaii. You will guide the warehouse team, ensure timely parts for service and installation crews, and drive accuracy in inventory, receiving, distribution, and vendor coordination.

You will manage cycle counts, PO processing, and safety practices while coordinating with Service and Installations departments to anticipate parts needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification required.
• 2+ years warehouse experience with lead/supervisor exposure preferred.
• Proficient in inventory management practices including cycle counts and reorder management.
• Familiarity with commercial HVAC components is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and material flow for commercial HVAC projects.
• Train, mentor, and develop warehouse staff on procedures and safety.
• Process POs, manage backorders, and coordinate Returns/RMAs.
• Coordinate with Service and Installations teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and warehouse environment is clean and organized.
• Operate/maintain warehouse equipment and ensure certifications are current.
