Job summary

R.E. Michel Company is seeking a Warehouse/Counter Service representative in Lithia Springs, GA. The role covers customer service, order processing, invoice generation, loading items for delivery, and maintaining branch operations.

The ideal candidate handles invoices, CODs, returns, and understands HVAC parts to assist customers. A fast-paced environment requires reliability, teamwork, and basic computer skills; safety and schedule adherence are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills with customers and the public.
• Ability to read invoices, catalogs, stock numbers and descriptions to identify items.
• Experience using a computer to generate invoices and process orders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and friendly customer service by following Customer First standards, in person or over the telephone.
• Greet customers entering the branch and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ensure commitments made to customers are met or exceeded.
• Pull orders from warehouse and load into delivery trucks or customer vehicles, using safe material handling procedures.
• Produce and complete paperwork including invoices, CODs, special orders, vendor PO's and shipping/receiving documents.
• Process payments (cash/credit) and ensure products leaving the branch are billed.
• Handle returns and warranties the same day they are received.
• Unload deliveries and stock products in assigned areas; operate lift trucks and other MHE safely.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and yard, report safety issues or damage immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
