Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Cranford, NJ is seeking a COS Material Handler I to receive, fill, and ship products accurately while maintaining safety and quality. You will operate forklifts and RF scanners, stock and pick orders, verify labels and paperwork, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 0–1 year related experience, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 0–1 year of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices.
• OSHA and safety regulations and procedures.
• Forklift certification required, or willingness to obtain on the job.

Responsibilities

• Receive, fill, and ship products accurately and efficiently.
• Operate power equipment safely to locate, stock, and move products.
• Inspect shipments, verify quantity, and complete necessary paperwork.
• Ensure bar codes and stock numbers are correct and scannable.
• Prepare and load orders for shipment while maintaining safety and organization.
