Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC tradesmen to join our growing team. This Bargaining Unit position offers hourly pay under the collective bargaining agreement and opportunities to service advanced heavy commercial equipment. You’ll be mentored, perform installations, troubleshoot issues, and propose efficiency improvements.

Strong safety adherence, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license are required. Training through the STA program is provided to certify you for the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations.
• Be willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and drive results under supervision per employer guidance.
• Troubleshoot, resolve problems, provide quotes and recommendations to ensure facility runs efficiently.
